I can't see future for Massa in Ferrari
|
Roy

Massa was taken on to cover Barrichello because no one else would join Ferrari and be no two and move out of the way everytime Schumacher was about.

yea roy, it's sad but true, mass aint a bad driver he showed that at sauber. but i just dont see a future for him in formula 1

massa is still young isn't he. so theres still plenty of years left in him. its time michael, and especially jaques villneurve (agrrr that guy just doesn't get a hint its time to move on) retire.

Rumour has it that Montoya has to find another seat for next year, i wouldnt be surprised if he ends up at BMW, he might have some ties with mario from when he was with williams

who are the renault drivers going to be? some say fisi is fighting for his seat. hopefully michael retires but i dont see that happening.

Ok Ron has said hamilton will be in F1 next year, althouth he said which team? hmmm maybe he won't go with mclaren straight up... I wouldn't be surprised if he popped up in a midland f1 car, then again who would want a one year contract at mclaren...
edit: oh btw ron is like hamiltons manager, what ron says goes

Ok how about a poll on were people think Webber will move hey you could do this for a few driver's not sure how you can do it though.

Montoya has been disappointing for over two years now. He lost his touch (if he ever had one).

| Quote: | Williams likely to retain current drivers
28 June 2006
Williams drivers Mark Webber and Nico Rosberg are likely to stay at the British team. Williams' technical director said the team was keen on keeping the pair for another season.
"The driver decision will be Frank's, but the most likely thing is to continue with the two drivers we have for next year," Sam Michael told Autosport. "All the options are in Williams' favour as things go. Frank will make his choice when the time is right. I can't see anything else he'd do." |

Now what we really want to know is what engines williams will use next year, i could even devote a new topic to engine predictions unless someone beats me to it?

i always thought that mclaren made engines ... they just do the chassississis if im not mistaken
|
Cheesman

I thought they did both maybe I'm wrong.

mclaren never made engines
the founder of mclaren, bruce mclaren, was an aussie i think, built raced and won in his own car. wish i could do that
As for the engines let me see....
Porsche, Honda, Ford, and most recently Mercedes
oh whilst i was looking this up a Mclaren actually raced in indy car and won the indy 500, now thats cool

| Quote: | Juan Pablo Montoya is out of Formula 1 - and he's going back to the United States to drive in the NASCAR Nextel Cup. There had been suggestions that he would join Chip Ganassi once again but it was a surprise that this should be in NASCAR. Montoya had no opportunities left in F1 after failing to impress at McLaren. Montoya left Ganassi back in 2000 but did not enjoy the success that had been hoped for in F1. His attitude towards racing was not seen as being very serious although it was clear that he had enormous natural talent. Montoya sees NASCAR as a place to go racing again but he may find the lifestyle a bit of a shock as there is non-stop action from February to November.
Montoya won seven Grands Prix in F1.
The announcement was made on Sunday by the Ganassi team and the word is that Montoya will race the Texaco/Havoline Dodge. As a former CART Champion and Indy 500 winner there was little left for Montoya to prove in US open-wheeler racing |
ok so now this leaves a free spot at mclaren although i have no idea who will be there now but ron will need to find someone for 1 or 2 years as i still dont think we will see hamilton in an f1 car next season let alone a McLaren

thats sad, he's a really exciting driver to watch because he's not scared to take risks
