Button bounces back | Quote: | Honda's Jenson Button has bounced back from his disappointing performance in his home Grand Prix to record the fastest time during this week's testing.
Button used the testing run to work on chassis development among other mechanical issues after he was eliminated in the opening round of qualifying at Silverstone.
The Brit now heads to the Canadian Grand Prix full of confidence.
"This week's test has gone well and I was able to complete over 250 laps in two days, which is obviously very good," Button told the official FI website.
"The Montreal aero package work seemed to be positive and the results of our tyre programme were quite clear.
"We also worked through a number of other development items with some good results, so it was just a shame we had the engine failure yesterday.
"All in all a good test for us though."
Australian Mark Weber also used the day to test his car, trying new a new gearbox and brakes, but he still managed to finish sixth.
Sauber also had a positive test-run, with Robert Kubica and Jacques Villeneuve second and third respectively, while Giancarlo Fisichello was fourth.
Button's teammate Rubens Barrichello also used the day to test his car and finished in fifth spot. |

hahaha he put it into the wall last year... who remembers that?
and montoyas black flag was also a highlight. hmmm i think this is going to turn into the candian GP thread.

Barrichello seems to be doing a decent job this season

yeah its completely turned. early in the season it was button, now its barrichello.. i think the experience is finally kicking in.
