The BMW-Sauber team will run their radical vertical wings this weekend at the French Grand Prix F1Racing.net can reveal. The wings were introduced last week on Wednesday when Robert Kubica and Jacques Villeneuve were testing the new wings.
A BMW-Sauber spokesperson confirmed to F1Racing.net: "Yes, we will run the vertical wings at Magny-Cours this weekend."
When Robert Kubica was testing the new wings at Jerez he wasn't sure what to expect from the new wings. He told F1Racing.net: "Sometimes you just have to try something. I'm not sure what it is for exactly. I just sat in the car and took it for a lap.
Kubica wasn't really impressed by the wings, but then again, he only drove it for one lap on Wednesday. He commented: "If I experienced any different behaviour in the car? No, and I don't expect we'll be using it at races either."
Looks Bloody Ugly to me, Be interesting if the other teams follow suit and copy the wings. Also be nice to know what bernie thinks about it ans he got rid of the radicalstyle t-wings on the side pods based on the gorunds of safety although everyone knew he wanted them out because he thought they were ugly, which i think these new wing's are
