The curtain raiser for Sydney FC's A-League title defense kicked off in fine style yesterday in Sydney. As an FC member, it was nice to see the boys come away will all three points. Luckily they were to get them I might add. Thank the lord for Clint Bolton, easily the best keeper in the A-League, who pulled off no less than 6 beautiful saves to constantly deny an unlucky bunch of marinated football players. On a neutral note, was good to see Vidmar back in Australia, turns out his heart condition is a specific "lack of heart". Ooh that's nasty, but he deserved it after yesterday, really though he didn't want to be there.
Football Chant of the day emanating from the lively Bay 10:
